Shameless Plugs For Those In Need

How many of us out there said we're going to do something but never do it? Show of hands? If your hand isn't raised you're lying. Failure to follow through is a trait we all share to some degree. Maybe that's what makes actually following through so satisfying.

A friend of mine a while back decided to set a goal and is so far closing in on it. She started out a few months back training for a marathon. Soon, she'll run that marathon (or at least fast jog, I don't know how the training has been going) and she'll follow through on her goal. As an added bonus she's doing it as part of a charity fundraising event. As part of her commitment she needs to raise a few bucks. You can help her out by going to the website she has set up for the event:

We can't all follow through on the goals we set, but supporting those that do might help make up for it.

Good luck on your run Linda.

Side Note: If anyone else is out there doing something that you'd like people to check out or support let me know. If its worthwhile (and even if it isn't) I'll try to give it a plug.
